Duties: Daily monitoring of print, electronic and social media platforms to identify stories that are likely to impact government. Conduct keyword research including cataloguing and indexing of issues which impact the manner in which government is perceived and understood. Provide strategic advice to GCIS management and where necessary the system of government communication and provide appropriate action/solutions/recommendations on issues in the media landscape. Lead daily rapid response meetings, make recommendations and facilitate follow-through. Input and influence the content of the media analysis reports identifying focus areas.
