The National Children’s Theatre (NCT) aims to grow the next generation of leaders through engaging performance arts, original and instructive musicals, and captivating after-school programmes.

It was established in 1989 as Johannesburg Youth Theatre but was renamed NCT in 2005. 

Sports journalist turned entrepreneur Gomolemo Motshwane is on a mission to spur interest in snooker and pool especially within the townships.

Motshwane founded Kwanda Snooker & Pool, a dynamic enterprise dedicated to crafting bespoke snooker and pool tables that embody quality, innovation, and community spirit. 

Young Eastern Cape-based pastry chef, Mihlali Quntana, is well on her way to creating and leaving a legacy for future generations after establishing a bakery in her hometown with her siblings. 

While under the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown Quntana decided to bake cakes and sell them in KwaDwesi, in Gqeberha.

At the time, the 27-year-old had a full-time job.

Successfully running a farming business is not a walk in the park for many farmers, especially those without a solid agricultural background. 

This is why Sabelo Samkelisiwe Xaba (32) of KwaZiphethe village in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) encourages emerging farmers to have a mentor who specialises in the type of farming relevant to them.
