Mpilisweni School of Specialisation officially launched in Gauteng

Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) MEC, Matome Chiloane, has officially launched the Mpilisweni Maths, Science & ICT School of Specialisation, with a focus on Manufacturing and Logistics in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni. 
The GDE streamlines its schools to match the focuses of each of the schools' Economic Development Corridors, thus responding to the skills gap of each corridor.

Climate Change Fund to create resilient communities

Government is expected to establish a Climate Change Response Fund to address the devastating effects of the phenomenon (of climate change) on  vulnerable areas in South Africa.

Issuing fake certificates is a serious criminal offence

While the South African government continues to build an education system that will unleash the potential of all citizens, there are bogus institutions that continue to fraudulently grant unsuspecting victims with fake National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Umalusi, the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training that is responsible for the certification of qualifications, is warning the public that issuing fake certificates is a serious criminal offence against the State.
