South Africa and Africa in general benefited immensely from the recent US-Africa Leaders’ Summit held in Washington, said Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies.

The independence of the courts and the rule of law can only prosper where there is a clear separation of powers.

This is according to Minister of Justice and Correctional Services Michael Masutha, who recently announced that staff from the Department of Justice would be transferred to the office of Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.

This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating 20 Years of Democracy: Tell Your Story that Moves South Africa Forward.’

South Africa is not only home to some of world’s best scenic views, coastlines and wildlife but it also boasts eight world heritage sites as determined by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation's World Heritage Committee.

A heritage site is a place of cultural or natural significance that is recognised as being of outstanding international importance and deserving of special protection. On average the Maponya Mall Thusong Service Centre receives about 22 000 clients monthly requiring government services, which range from applying for identity documents (IDs), entrepreneur information and employment opportunities.

Government has called on all South Africans to support the new five-year plan to move the country forward and improve lives.
